Warzone 2 Players Rejoice: Season 2 Reloaded Brings Much-Needed Updates

Warzone 2 players have been eagerly awaiting the Season 2 Reloaded update, which is set to release on March 15th. The current iteration of the game is not in the most favorable position, due to the stale meta guns and broken items like the bomb drone. Numerous players, including prominent Warzone streamers, have shifted their focus to other games or multiplayer ranked matches.

However, recent posts on Twitter by Infinity Ward, Raven Software, and Call of Duty have provided a glimpse of some much-needed changes that will arrive with the Season 2 Reloaded update. The update is expected to bring a global weapon balance, including a reduction in the damage caused by the KV Broadside and Dragon’s Breath rounds, which have been dominating the meta.

The update will also see the Bomb Drone being disabled in Warzone 2 Battle Royale, a Killstreak that has caused a lot of frustration among players, with additional balancing options for it set to be explored in the future.

In addition to weapon balancing, the Season 2 Reloaded update will include important audio updates. The submix fixes that were affecting enemy footstep volume have been addressed, and sand footsteps have been equalized to better cut through the mix, similar to dirt and concrete. PC users will also have an audio update allowing them to select stereo or surround outputs, which will default to stereo if not set.

The update also brings some changes to Resurgence mode, with all squad sizes being included in each weekly playlist for the remainder of the season.

It’s unclear why these much-needed balancing updates did not come earlier, but players are excited about the upcoming changes. The full patch notes with these changes and more will be published on March 15th shortly before the update is live.

The Season 2 Reloaded update is set to bring some much-needed changes to Warzone 2, making the game more balanced and enjoyable for players. The update promises to address some of the issues that have been plaguing the game, and it’s clear that the developers are listening to the community and taking their feedback into account. Warzone 2 players can look forward to the update on March 15th and get ready to jump back into the action.
